Q14. If you had to bring one person back to life for one day, who would it be and how would you spend your day with that person?

Location: Pizza Hut

I spent some time with my aunt today whom I haven’t seen in a while. She was so happy to see me. We didn’t do much we just sat and talked about life and stuff like that. She’s older and it made me realize how precious time is. I’m glad we hung out a little bit today.
Hence…today’s question. I had a hankering for pizza so I stopped by Pizza Hut and Odain was my target.

“For one day…I would have to say Malcolm X. I would probably have a wealth of questions to ask like with the black and white struggle…how did he overcome the struggles he had. Stuff along those lines. I’d have to write my questions down because I’d have so many. But yeah…Malcolm X would be that person.”

Id have to say it would be both my maternal and paternal great grandmothers. Alot of history rests in those women! I culd learn alot….about my family and perhaps more about myself!

My elderly ex-neighbors’ husband. He died about a year ago and she misses him so much. She feels that there are things she needed to tell him and is very sorry she wasn’t here when he passed away. I would bring him back so that she could talk to and hug him one more time. He could tell her that it’s gonna be ok and maybe then she would be able to heal and remember him without pain and regret…maybe.

My great-grandfather. Pawpaw. Never got to meet him and I’ve never met a person who hasn’t said what a great man he was. I would spend that day getting know him, learning his life lessons, and allow him to get to know me. Oh and I wouldn’t forget as many hugs as possible!

Easy! I’d bring back my daddy! We’d spend the entire day with Jamie. He never got to meet his only grandchild. He’d be cheesin about my naming my son after him…the two James Best lol. My mom, dad, me, and Jamie..all day..just laughing and dancing (my dad’s fav thing to do) and having a water fight in the back yard (my dad’s other fav thing to do) ….see I’m all teary eyed just thinking about it.
